What you might think ‘The Fast and the Furious’ is about?

It seems like it must be cars,
the midnight nitrous explosion
and streaks of light cast
against glowing flesh and chrome,
and it is about all of these — 
about how these trappings
comprise a stage, a house built
and rebuilt chassis by chassis
until it becomes eternal,
a city full of streets home
to the ever-escalating repetition
of an increasingly unlikely
family.
