Flicker
Sometimes
you choose
which piece
of your life
to make whole.
Sometimes
you don't
get to choose.
Spring haze
on rooftop,
another drone
photograph
of your missing
shingles. There,
at the apex
of your trouble,
a grace note
that echoes
into your abyss.
Signing name
after name, all
this ephemera.
Things even
the internet can't
tell you how
to disasterproof.
Thanks for reading! This year I'm writing poems about moving into my first house and dealing with a lot of drama and evolution in this and other parts of my life. We'll see where it goes.
